We would like to address an issue that has become more and more prevalent at Ten7, particularly in our outdoor areas, beer garden and barrel room.
We work very hard to create an atmosphere where everyone can relax and have a beer and we are very happy that guests of all ages enjoy Ten7. Unfortunately, too many parents are failing to supervise their children while they relax and have a beer.
Recently, an unsupervised child nearly darted out into the busy street adjacent to our brewery. If it hadn’t been for an observant guest who yelled for the child to stop, the child could have been seriously injured. On another occasion, one of our food trucks had to tell children to stop throwing stones into the street. Children run through the crowded taproom and outdoor areas, weaving through guests and staff members carrying drinks, throwing balls, throwing stones, piling stones on tables, and making holes and mounds in the stones which are tripping hazards. Sometimes the parents have no idea where their children are on the property. This is creating a dangerous environment for everyone-staff, guests and the children.
Our staff members work very hard to provide you with attentive service-please provide your children with the same. Our staff should not have to constantly ask children where their parents are or to stop jumping on our sofa or climbing our fence or railing, throwing balls and stones. This happens far too often.
We ask that you please supervise your children. For those of you who ensure your children behave, Cheers and thank you!
